H.K.E. SOCIETY'S The college has four laboratories for Science—Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology—equipped with O.H.P. and L.C.D. facilities, thanks to the generous support of the management.
A library with a 7,000‑book collection, along with magazines, newspapers, and periodicals, is an added credential.
The college has maintained a consistent student strength of 500, with three sections of 100 each under grant‑in‑aid.
Apart from academics, co‑curricular events—including sports, games, and N.S.S.—are conducted enthusiastically each year, with students representing the college at state-level competitions.
Athletes like Basawaraj Sajjannar, D. Devaraj, Sanjeev Kumar, Akhilesh, and Kum. Kiran Jyoti have earned national-level honors.
Arvind B. Vibhute has been selected for national-level lawn tennis this year.
The NSS unit has been actively functioning since 1985. We've organized multiple special camps with Zilla Panchayat, Red Cross, and Rural Water Supply/Sanitation Department, achieving the construction of 75 BPL household toilets and 3 school toilets in nearby villages. Divisional camps were held in Aurad(B) and Basavakalyan.
Other initiatives include airmen selection training, adolescent quizzes, leadership camps. Our unit has been honored as a Best NSS Unit at both Directorate and State levels.
